This might be of interest to some - LH Loveless are producing a small run of bridges http://www.loveless.co.uk/victoria_bridge/index.html
The bridges take two Korean builders two days to assemble the 4,000 lost wax brass and etched brass components to make the bridges. Price is still to be confirmed but it will not be cheap.
HI all
I have made a lot of headway in the last few months, we now have a few locos that work using Loksound XL V4 decoder and ESU 54678/54679 smoke units, having discovered all the variables that can be changed to improve the smoke.
These are all UK models
First up is a Class 37/4 with XL V4 and ESU 54679 smoke unit - O gauge/Spur O, I managed to get the big unit in!

Next is an LNER A4 with XL V4 and ESU 54679 smoke unit in Gauge 1/Spur 1

Finally this is an LMS Patriot by http://www.leemarshmodelco.com with XL V4.0 decoder and ESU 54678 smoke unit in O Gauge/Spur O

The next challenge is to connect up the KM1 smoke unit to these chips that have the fan and smoke settings on them.
I hope the wiring will be the same , black, yellow, green and red to drive the unit, it has been three years since I looked at the KM1 unit.
It would be great to get it working as it will fit into other UK outline locos.

Sorry for typing in English, I love German outline, but my German is very very rusty!
Has anyone installed a KM1 Modellbau rauchgenerator to a Loksound XL V4 chip?
I am trying this connecting it to one of the outputs to synchronise the smoke with the sound from the chip, but it has not worked yet, I only get a constant smoke output. I do not want to use a reed switch on the axle to drive the chuffs, although I did try this and it did not work either!
I know ESU are going to make some smoke units and there is the Massoth unit, but it would be nice to have a smoke unit for the Loveless Deltics that are being made in Korea right now.
http://www.loveless.co.uk/deltic/index.html we have the sound sorted for it after a lot of effort.
Thank you for any help you can give, I apologise for not typing in German!
